About Us

Your hosts, Dick and Dolores Novak and their shih tzu dog, Toulouse, welcome you to their rustic lodge and guest houses, which are designed in the local Meru style. Following a day on safari, you will enjoy comfortable facilities in a modern African decor.

The lodge and guest houses are built with local stone and timber. Named after the Ngurdoto Crater in nearby Arusha National Park, local people often call the crater "Ngorongoro Ndogo" (the little Ngorongoro).

We want you to feel at home at Ngurdoto Lodge so come and let us and our friendly Tanzanian staff pamper you with traditional local hospitality.
